Long Grove Apple Fest | From apple popcorn to apple lattes, Apple Fest’s claim-to-fame is the hundreds of delicious apple-inspired treats! Plus, enjoy downtown Long Grove with shops and activities staged throughout the scenic village. Activities for the family include carnival rides, games, apple pie eating contests and live music performances.

Vernon Hills Oktoberfest | Visit Vernon Hills as the festival features family fun for all. Kids crafts, pumpkin painting, food, beer, live music & more!

Farm Heritage & Harvest Festival | The Grayslake two-day event features Farm Heritage Tractors and displays, live entertainment, kids activities, sheep herding, a pumpkin carving demo, a beer garden, delicious food, fall plants & decor sale, an auction, tractor pulls & more!
When: Sept. 22-23. Lake County Fairgrounds, 1060 E. Peterson Rd., Grayslake.
Didier Farms Pumpkin Fest | This festival favorite features hayrides, pony rides, kid rides, a petting zoo, pig races, a corn maze & lots of pumpkins. Don’t forget to visit the bake shop for delicious pies, hot spiced apple cider, kettle corn and pumpkin donuts.
